Trails and Paths
All of the paths were much more than 36 inches wide. The paths were smooth and connected to almost every feature of the park.
-
Seating
There were more than 4 different kinds of seating options available, and multiple kinds of picnic tables available. There were some clusters of seating by the playground and rec center, with less frequency on the west side of the park.

Spending Time
The playground is huge and has equipment that is appropriate for a wide range of ages. The playground is in a sandbox, rather than wood chips, which is becoming less common. There were many lampposts, very effectively spread out throughout the park, although I can’t confirm they work. The trees provide a nice, small bit of shade throughout the park, although the athletic fields are not shaded by trees. The park is big but pretty flat, so it’s possible to some extent to anticipate the sensory experience of the park before entering. There’s also a wading pool, two half basketball courts, baseball diamond, and tennis courts. There’s a pavilion in the middle of the park for live music.
-
Transportation
There is a large parking lot, enough for at least 25 cars, with two accessible parking spots. The 17 and 30 stops directly at the park.

Sanitation
There are bathrooms, accessible from the outside, in the rec center, but they’re locked. There is a working drinking fountain, with adequate water pressure. There were at least 4 pairs of trash and recycling bins that were pretty evenly dispersed throughout the park.
